Lead Web Developer

Location : USA / Remote

Salary Range : $85K+ DOE

Services we offer locally and nationwide include digital strategy, web design and development, content creation, SEO, paid search, social media, and more. We work with over 100 businesses across many industries, from local professional services to eCommerce brands.


What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Lead Web Developer to join our team. As a Lead Web Developer, you will be responsible for supporting our development team in all aspects of the development, testing, and implementation of client websites. Digital agency experience is a must!

Candidates for the position must have experience in leading multiple concurrent projects in a digital agency environment.

  • Technical web development-related skills
  • General knowledge of effective team communication & workflow
  • Experience in a development management role at a Digital Marketing Agency.
  • Experience as development lead on multiple concurrent projects
  • 3+ years experience with JAMStack Development
  • 3+ years experience with JavaScript-based Static Site Generators, Gatsby, Next, etc.
  • 3+ years experience with CSS and CSS frameworks (TailWindCSS preferred)
  • 3+ years experience with Headless CMS development (Sanity.io, Contentful experience a plus)
  • 3+ years experience with website analytical tracking (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager)
  • General knowledge of website deployment workflows (production to staging, staging to production, etc.)
  • Working understanding and ability to use git repositories and version control
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Ability to set expectations and be reasonably accommodated or otherwise recognize when compromise is required
  • Excellent time management skills and strict adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to use core workflow systems (e.g. ClickUp, Slack, GSuite, etc.)
  • Ability to engage other team members without unduly burdening them or otherwise being disruptive or uncooperative
  • Self-starter and eagerness to learn
  • Must be organized, motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
  • Comfortable receiving feedback
